Detailed description
Commercial law stipulates that a general partnership (OHG) must be entered in the commercial register. The registration must be made by all shareholders at the competent register court.

Documents
The following information is required for the registration of an OHG:
- Surname, first name, date of birth and place of residence of each partner
- Company name, as well as the place where it has its registered office and the domestic business address
- Object of the company, if it does not result from the company
- Power of representation of the shareholders
The notary will advise you on the documents required in individual cases for the registration of the OHG.

Fees
The amount of the fee for registration is determined in accordance with the Court and Notary Costs Act in conjunction with the Ordinance on Fees in Commercial, Partnership and Cooperative Register Matters. In addition, expenses are incurred for the public announcement of the registration.

To apply, please contact a notary.
- The notary advises on the formulation of the application.
- The registration takes place exclusively electronically, for this purpose a publicly certified document is created.
- The declaration is provided with an electronic signature (within the meaning of § 39a Beurkundungsgesetz/BeurkG) and sent to the electronic court and administrative mailbox of the register court.
Changes
Relevant information about your company, such as the registered office, the legal form or the authorized representative, has changed? Then please have the commercial register entry corrected immediately. The registration takes place in the same way exclusively through a notary.
