Planning permission for camping, weekend or golf courses

    Anyone wishing to set up, extend or change the use of a campsite, weekend site or golf course requires a permit.

  • Requirements

    Please submit the building application in triplicate in paper form and also as an electronic copy. If the lower building supervisory authority has opened electronic access, this must be used. You must use the prescribed forms for your building application.

    If the construction of buildings is planned, the building documents must be prepared and signed by a person authorized to prepare building documents (draftsman or draftswoman).

  • Documents

    A fire protection concept must be submittedwith the building documents ( see Section 3 of the Brandenburg Building Documents Ordinance ) for campsites and weekend home sites .

    Based on a risk analysis, the fire protection concept must provide an overall assessment and show which preventive structural, plant engineering, organizational (operational) and defensive measures are required to meet the fire protection objectives and fire protection requirements.

  • Fees

    1.4 percent of the chargeable building value, at least €100

    In accordance with tariff sections 1.1-1.5 of the Brandenburg Building Fee Regulations

    The fee can be partially charged as an advance.

  • Process

    The project is examined in full during the building permit procedure. The lower building supervisory authority checks whether the building documents are complete within two weeks of receipt of the application and confirms receipt.

    If the building documents are incomplete or inadequate, the client will be given a deadline for completing the building application together with the confirmation of receipt.

    The application is deemed to be withdrawn if the missing documents are not submitted within the deadline (Section 69 (2) BbgBO).

    If the building documents are complete, the lower building supervisory authority will immediately involve all specialist authorities whose interests are affected by the project, as well as the municipality. The deadline for the specialist authorities to comment is one month; the municipality has two months to grant its consent.

    If all comments have been received and there are no contradictions with public law regulations, the building permit is granted. The building permit includes all necessary approvals.

  • Duration

    After receiving the comments, the lower building supervisory authority is granted a statutory decision period of one month in Section 69 (6) BbgBO, so that the planning permission procedure is usually completed after four months.

  • Deadline

    The building permit is valid for six years in accordance with § 73 BbgBO.

    The building permit and the partial building permit do not expire if construction of the building project has begun within six years of the permit being granted and notification of the commencement of use has been given no later than one year after the expiry of the period.

    It is not possible to extend the period of validity.
