  • Detailed description

Information about the content concerning you in the National Infringement File of the Sea Fisheries Act can be requested from the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).

The National Infringements File stores data on infringements of the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy electronically. Infringements committed by German citizens are registered; as well as infringements committed on fishing vessels entitled to fly the federal flag.
Violations committed during the exercise of sea fishing in the territorial sea or the exclusive economic zone of Germany are also documented. In addition, the points for serious infringements are entered in the infringement file.

Some federal states have launched support programmes for fisheries and aquaculture. If you wish to apply for fisheries support under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), it is generally a prerequisite that you do not have any points for serious infringements entered in the infringement file. In this case, you apply to the BLE for submission to an authority ("EMFF information").

There is also the possibility that the legal representative makes the application.

Note: If you would like a self-disclosure of the content concerning you, you can submit an application for self-disclosure (see National Infringement File in the Sea Fisheries Act; Apply for self-disclosure).
