Detailed description
When the election is over, the election committee determines how many votes the respective list election proposal has received. Subsequently, the district election committee or the city election committee determine how many votes within the district or the independent city the respective list election proposals have received. These election committees can also verify the findings of the election committees. As the next instance, the Land election committee determines the votes for the election proposals on a Land basis. It may correct the results of the election committees and the district and municipal election committees. Finally, the Federal Election Committee determines the votes cast at the federal level. In addition, it determines the number of seats for the list election proposals and determines the elected candidates. The Federal Electoral Committee
may make arithmetical corrections to the results of the Land Electoral Committee. -
Requirements
Prerequisite for the determination of the election result are the determinations of the lower levels (district, country).
