Detailed description
If you wish to work abroad in an academic or non-academic healthcare profession, you will usually need proof of the qualification you have acquired (proof of training). You will also need a Certificate of good standing (Certificate of good standing). This confirms that you are authorized to practice your profession without restriction. The certificate also shows that no professional or disciplinary action has been taken or initiated against you.
You can obtain a certificate of good standing from the local competent authority in the federal state in which you practice or last practiced your profession.

Requirements
- Your last professional activity must have been in the state of application
- the professional activity must correspond to an academic or non-academic health profession
- if applicable, official certification and translation of documents into German
- If copies are submitted, they must be officially certified. In the case of copies without official certification, the simultaneous submission of the originals is required.
- Documents in foreign languages require an official German translation by an interpreter sworn in Germany.

- Certificate of completed training (for example, certificate of medical examination)

- Approbation certificate or certificate of permission to use a professional title

- Continuing education designation (for example, specialist), if this is to be included in the certificate
- Doctorate certificate (if available)
- Proof of activity and certificate of good conduct (certificate of the competent professional chamber on the data kept there)
- Name change certificate (if applicable)
in Brandenburg additionally:
- Application for clearance
- Current CV in tabular form (signed) – original
- Proof of identification (passport or identity card) – in officially certified form or birth certificate – in the original
- Declaration that the licence to use the professional title has not been withdrawn (only for health professions)
- Declaration that there are currently no judicial criminal proceedings, public prosecutor's investigation pending (only for health professions)
- Official certificate of good conduct – original, not older than one month

- You send the application for the issuance of a clearance certificate to the competent authority
- The authority checks the requirements and issues the certificate of good standing
