  • Detailed description

    Approval for a maximum speed of 100 km/h on motorways and motor roads is possible

    • - for passenger cars with trailers (combination),

  • Documents
    • Registration certificate Part I of the trailer;

    • - Opinion of an officially recognised expert or examiner or a test engineer of an officially recognised monitoring organisation on the fulfilment of the technical requirements or confirmation by the manufacturer

    If you hire a third party, they will need a written power of attorney from you. In addition, he must present your identity document (in the original) to the licensing authority. He must be able to identify himself with his valid identity card/passport.

  • Fees

    The fee is levied in accordance with the Schedule of Charges for Road Transport Measures (RFees). Information can be obtained from the competent licensing authority in individual cases.

  • Process

    The trailer must first be presented to an officially recognised expert or examiner or a test engineer from an officially recognised monitoring organisation. There it is checked whether your trailer meets the technical requirements for this speed. If this is the case, you will receive a confirmation from the licensing authority.

    Before going to the expert, please contact the manufacturer of your trailer; an approval for 100 km/h may already be available.

    A personal interview is required. It may also be carried out by an authorised person.
