Fragmentation of a parcel of land in the real estate cadastre into several new parcels

Do you have a plot of land that you would like to share? To do this, you must apply for a division survey / decomposition of a parcel.

Your responsible authority

  • Detailed description

Would you like to divide your property, for example because you want to sell part of it? Then you must first have the property measured. This creates the new border you want, which is marked with local boundary signs. This can be done for you by a resident, publicly appointed surveyor or by the responsible cadastral authority of the district or independent city.

In order for your existing property to be turned into new properties, two authorities must take action after the survey. First the cadastral authority of the district or the district-free city and then the responsible land registry. The cadastral authority automatically becomes active as soon as the body in charge of surveying has submitted all the documents there.

With the information about the new parcels, the land registry can form the new plots in the land register upon request. When this is completed, your property will be divided and you will be able to dispose of the new plots.
