Your responsible authority

Fachbereich 62 - Geoinformation und Liegenschaftskataster

Straße:
Karl-Marx-Str. 67
PLZ Ort:

  • Detailed description

If you want to have an existing parcel divided into several independent parcels, e.g. for the purpose of sale, you must submit an application to the competent cadastral authority of the district / independent city or to a publicly appointed surveyor.

For the formation of new parcels, either a property survey is carried out or, under certain conditions, the parcel formation is carried out without local surveying work. The surveying offices will be happy to explain to you in detail which facts apply to your specific individual case.

  • Requirements

A property survey is carried out on request or ex officio. Applications may be made by property owners or by holders of a right equivalent to real estate; with their consent, another person may also submit the application.

  • Fees

Fees are charged for the formation of parcels. The fees depend on the number of boundary points, the boundary lengths and the standard land value.

  • Process

The process is divided into the placing of the order, the local surveying including the recognition procedure and the transfer to the real estate cadastre.

  • Duration

    3 – 6 months

  • Deadline

In the recognition procedure, the party to the procedure has 1 month to submit the recognition in writing. If no objection is made, the parcel boundary shall be deemed to have been recognised.
