Detailed description

If there are dangers to a body of water (e.B. in the event of contamination by heating oil, fuels, chemicals or extreme fish deaths) or the condition or use of water bodies, dikes, (safety dams), dams or other flood protection systems, as well as flood and water protection areas (including flood-prone areas) hazards to the general public or individuals should be notified immediately.

The competent authorities shall then take the necessary measures to prevent the risks.

Notification to the competent body should be made as soon as possible.

- To the national coastal protection, national and marine protection company in Husum (Upper Water Authority) if coastal waters, shipping lanes, national ports or outer lows are affected,
- to the counties or non-circular cities (lower water authorities) where the other waters (including groundwater) are affected, or
- in the event of an emergency to the police (emergency number 110) or the fire brigade (emergency number 112).
