Detailed description
Information about the content concerning you in the National Infringement File of the Sea Fisheries Act can be requested from the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
The National Infringements File stores data on infringements of the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy electronically. Violations committed by German citizens are registered. Infringements committed on fishing vessels entitled to fly the federal flag are also recorded.
Violations committed during the exercise of sea fishing in the territorial sea or the exclusive economic zone of Germany are also documented. In addition, the points for serious infringements are entered in the infringement file.
If you would like a self-disclosure of the stored data, you can submit an application for self-disclosure.It is also possible for your legal representative to submit the application.
Note: If you wish to apply for fisheries support under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), it is generally a prerequisite that you do not have any points for serious infringements entered in the infringement file. You must then apply for the information for submission to an authority ("EMFF information").
