  • Detailed description

    The aim of the programme is to strengthen the competitiveness and adaptability of Brandenburg's economy. The program creates and secures jobs in the state of Brandenburg. Funding is provided for investment projects by small, medium-sized and larger companies and, within the framework of infrastructure funding, for municipalities whose aim is to create a functional, business-oriented infrastructure, primarily in the regional growth cores. It is also possible to promote tourist infrastructure, primarily in health resorts and resorts.

    In addition, non-investment activities can also be funded. On the one hand, this includes the promotion of projects that enable cooperation networks in organized companies and research institutions.

    On the other hand, the establishment of information networks and innovation clusters between companies (especially SMEs), universities and research institutions to promote technology transfer can be subsidized by the GRW in the form of, for example, the integration of external knowledge into the innovation process of the companies.

  • Requirements

    Eligible to apply:

    GRW-commercial: Companies in the commercial sector with a registered office in the state of Brandenburg (entry in the commercial register) with the aim of creating or maintaining jobs;

    GRW infrastructure: municipalities and/or municipal special-purpose associations; non-profit societies (for educational institutions), associations of companies and other partners (for GRW networks, GRW innovation clusters);

    Minimum volume of projects € 50,000.00 (except for planning and consulting services and regional development concepts)

  • Documents

    GRW application including installations in accordance with Annex 6 (GRW commercial) and Annex 7 (GRW infrastructure) GRW coordination framework as well as other documents listed on the ILB website under the respective funding programme.

  • Process

    In the case of commercial promotion of companies, the application must be submitted to the ILB. The application documents are available on the ILB homepage.

    In the case of funding for business-related infrastructure, the application must be submitted via the ILB's online customer portal.

    When funding GRW networks and innovation clusters, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of the State of Brandenburg, Department 24: MWAE Coordination, must first be contacted, followed by the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation (WFBB). Subsequently, a technically supported project outline is created in cooperation with the consultants. This will then be presented at the MWAE. You can then fill out the application forms published on the ILB website and submit them to the ILB together with the project description.

  • Duration

    In the case of business-related infrastructure funding, the measure must also be started within six months of receipt of the approval notice. The investment period is a maximum of 36 months. A decision can only be expected in the current financial year if the complete documents are submitted to the ILB by 30 June.
