Detailed description
In order to be admitted to a university, it is usually necessary to acquire a school-based university entrance qualification. However, even those with vocational qualifications who have neither the Abitur nor the Fachhochschulreife can take up studies at a university of applied sciences or university under certain circumstances.
The decision on the allocation of study places lies with the chosen university.
Your university will therefore inform you in advance about the special requirements for admission to the desired degree programme.
