  • Detailed description

The Youth Parliament (JuPa for short) represents the political interests of young people in a municipality. It aims to introduce young people to politics and to represent their political opinions. Essentially, it is a mouthpiece for the youth of a place and is democratically elected. In some cases, the place of residence in a municipality is decisive for eligibility to vote. In other cases, the place where the young people go to school is sufficient.

The Youth Parliament is active at municipal level and ensures that young people are also heard in community life with their topics and that their proposals are discussed in the city or municipal council.
