Information for municipalities

Service for citizens and companies in Brandenburg (BUS-BB)

The service for citizens and companies in Brandenburg (BUS-BB) is the editorial system with database in which the service descriptions for the service portal are created and maintained. The service descriptions can be linked to online services. It is also possible to display the service descriptions in the municipal administration portals and in the portal network of the federal government and states. Therefore, BUS-BB helps Brandenburg’s municipalities to meet the requirements of the Online Access Act (OZG). It is available to all Brandenburg municipalities free of charge.

With BUS-BB you can maintain and publish information on your own administrative services as well as data on your organisation. Your municipality receives access to the editorial system for this purpose. The data maintained in BUS-BB is displayed in the service portal and can also be integrated on your own websites. The municipality’s sites remain the central place from which citizens and businesses can obtain extensive information and apply for services directly.

Integrating content on municipal websites

BUS-BB content can be displayed on municipalities’ websites. Participating municipalities can use an Include Wizard or a certified interface for this purpose. We recommend involving your technical service provider at an early stage.

Advantages of BUS-BB at a glance

  • access to standardised and collaborative service descriptions created by the federal government, states and municipalities
  • linking of digital forms and online services to the service descriptions
  • service descriptions in accordance with the current legal situation
  • supervision of the editing processes by the FIM-Landesredaktion
  • creation of service descriptions in accordance with the uniform national FIM standard
  • ensuring the connection to the portal network, thus:
  • fulfils the requirements of the Brandenburg E-Government Act (BbgEGovG), the Online Access Act (OZG) and the EU Regulation on the Single Digital Gateway (SDG)
  • Integration of BUS-BB contents according to the design specifications of your municipality's website
  • Selected service descriptions can also be displayed in Sorbian in the future (manual translation)
