Detailed description
Child and youth welfare services are largely provided by independent providers. These include large ones such as the DRK, the Arbeitersamariterbund, the Arbeiterwohlfahrt, the Diakonisches Werk or the Caritas, but also smaller associations. For example, they are involved in child day care, youth work/youth social work or offer educational services outside the family. The local youth welfare offices cooperate with the independent providers within the framework of the overall planning responsibility of the youth welfare office and coordinate their offers on site.
