As an adult you have to pay a broadcasting fee for your apartment.

    Hint:

If another person already pays a broadcasting fee for your apartment, you are exempt from payment.

For citizens, the conversion of contributions will be largely automatic on 01.01.2013.

    • if you are of legal age (18 years or older) and
    • if you or another person does not yet pay a broadcasting fee for your apartment.

There is no obligation to pay contributions for a vacant apartment. The prerequisite is:

Tip: If you do not have the obligation to pay contributions, for example because another resident in the apartment already pays the broadcasting fee, you can deregister from the contribution service.
