School Certificate Exhibition

The school certificate is issued by the responsible school. The issuance of the certificates at the respective attended school takes place automatically. An application for the production of a certificate and its issuance is not required.

  • Detailed description

    Have you completed a school year, school year or course of education? The certificate issued will be issued to you by the school you attended on the day of issue of the certificate. If it is a graduation or departure certificate, you will also be given a certified copy of the certificate.

    Note: The issuance and issuance of certificates at the respective school visited is automatic. An application for the first exhibition is not required.

  • Requirements

    A school relationship and school attendance.  

    In the state of Brandenburg, anyone who has successfully completed a course of study or has passed a final examination and leaves school receives a final certificate. Under certain conditions, leaving certificates may be considered if the course attended has not been successfully completed but is leaving school.

  • Fees

    There are no costs for the first issue of the original of the certificate, the first certified copy for the pupil and for the copy to be taken to the pupil files or no administrative fee is to be charged due to the freedom from school fees in accordance with § 114 BbgSchulG. The fee statutes of the municipal school authorities must take this into account accordingly. Fees may be charged for the issuance of further certified copies.

  • Process

    The issuance of the certificates at the respective attended school takes place automatically without application, in time until the certificate is issued and is usually issued to the students present on the certificate issue day at the end of the school semester or school year.

    If a pupil is not present on the day of issue of the certificate due to leave of absence, illness or other reasons for which he or she is not responsible, the certificate must be sent to the parents or, if the pupil reaches the age of majority, in a sealed envelope.

  • Duration

    The processing time for the issuance varies, but the certificates are generally issued by the intended date of issue. The certificate issue date is generally at the end of the school semester or school year. As a rule, the certificate is completed, printed, signed and sealed. The process can take a few days to a few weeks.

  • Deadline

    end of school year, half-year end or date of departure;

    Certificates shall be issued in accordance with point 6(4) VV certificates on the last day of instruction of the class or course in the school semester, after completion of the examinations or immediately after verification. In justified individual cases, a certificate can also be issued prematurely, provided that it can be issued in accordance with the Education Course Ordinance. The recipient does not have to meet a deadline for the receipt of the certificate.

  • Responsible authority

    the respective school at municipal level is responsible for issuing the school certificates.

    In exceptional cases (e.B certain forms of organization of a non-student examination), certificates are issued by the responsible state education office.

    Pupils in a dual vocational training receive a final certificate of the course for the mediation of the school part of a vocational training by the attended vocational school or the attended OSZ (general education school) and a vocational qualification certificate from the respective competent authority.
