  • Detailed description

    In the case of a withdrawn or expired state recognition, a non-state educational institution may not use the designation "Berufsakademie".
    As a result, you cannot:

    • Take exams,
    • award degree titles (Bachelor Berufsakademie (BA)) and
    • Issue certificates.
  • Process

    State recognition may expire by operation of law or may be withdrawn or revoked by the competent authority.

    You may be given a deadline for comment or remedying defects by the competent authority.

    The withdrawal or revocation of state recognition shall be effected by written notice of the competent authority.
