Detailed description
If you want to use public transport space beyond public use, you generally need a special use permit. Public transport areas include roads as well as footpaths or cycle paths.

The special use permit is required, for example, for:
- Barriers, construction fences
- Container
- Scaffolding, construction machinery
- Site facilities
- Deposition of building materials
- Driving on pavements
If you have already been granted an exemption under road traffic law, you no longer need a special use permit under road law.

Attention! The special use permit is not replaced by a building permit.
