• Application for authorisation

You need a permit to apply plant protection products with aircraft. In the state of Brandenburg, the approval procedure is carried out by the State Office for Rural Development, Agriculture and Land Reorganisation (LELF). It examines your application for approval as well as the completeness of the application documents. You will receive a written notice of approval.

You must own forest property or be a person or corporation authorized to dispose of it.

• Application form
• Copy of the pilot's license
• Copy of the certificate of competence of the users (pilot and ground staff) according to § 9 paragraph 1 of the Plant Protection Act
• Application plan (per parcel) with application rates of the plant protection products including the additives used as well as the expected application times or periods of application Working flight map, analogue or digital
• written permission from the beneficiaries of the land in question intended as work airfields (including refuelling stations)

An authorisation procedure is carried out for the application of plant protection products by aircraft.

You must have a risk assessment from the Brandenburg State Forestry Agency.

Coordination with the responsible forest district must be carried out.

Forest owners/authorised persons submit a formal application to the LELF.

The LELF examines the application formally and professionally with the participation of specialist authorities.

As a result, the application will be decided on in writing. The fees will be communicated to the applicant by means of a decision.
