Detailed description
- If you stop fishing for eel, you must immediately report this to the higher fisheries authority (deregister eel fishing).
- You will provide your contact details and registration number, as well as the date on which the eel fishery will cease.
- After deregistration from the eel fishery, the registered person is deleted from the register by the higher fisheries authority.

They must have been registered for eel fishing, i.e. have a registration number.

Process
- They deregister the eel fishery with the higher fisheries authority.
- The deregistration must include the contact details and registration number as well as the time of deregistration from the eel fishery.
- Your registration for eel fishing will be removed from the register.
