Detection of deficiencies by an approved monitoring body Notification
As an approved monitoring body, you should address notifications of identified defects in systems requiring monitoring to the State Office for Occupational Safety, Consumer Protection and Health (LAVG).

Detailed description
If you, as an approved inspection body (ZÜSt), have discovered defects during an inspection that may endanger employees or other persons, you must inform the LAVG immediately.
If you have identified safety-relevant defects during an inspection, you must set a reasonable deadline for their elimination. You will check the remedy of these defects immediately after expiry of this period. If safety-relevant defects have not been remedied or have not been completely remedied, you must inform the LAVG immediately.
You will provide the information requested by the LAVG.

Process
If, during your inspection, you have identified safety-relevant defects in systems requiring monitoring, report this immediately in writing:
- Send your inspection certificate as an e-mail to the LAVG ( lavg.zues-meldungen@lavg.brandenburg.de ).
- At the same time, you set a deadline by which the defects should be eliminated.
- They shall check the rectification of the defects immediately after expiry of this period.
- Send the LAVG an e-mail immediately if the defects have not been remedied or have not been completely remedied.
