The establishment of a branch office as an expert in the Federal Republic of Germany requires the approval of the recognition authority.

If you want to set up a branch, you must meet all the requirements that are necessary for a main establishment.

These include:

• For each branch there is a room available where you can practice your profession
• You or a representative can be reached at any branch
• You can perform your duties as an expert
• Supervision by the respective chamber is ensured

The application shall be accompanied by the supporting documents necessary for approval, in particular:

1. on the personal responsibility of the activity in the branch

2. to the employees who are to participate in the audit activities

3. as well as to ensure the supervision of the proper execution of construction.

Fees according to subheading 7.4.4 of the Brandenburg Building Fee Regulations – 50€

• The application for authorisation to establish a branch shall be submitted to the Certification Authority for Experts.

• Submission of supporting documents relating to the conditions for authorisation.

• Examination of the authorisation requirements by the recognition authority.

• Approval by decision, if necessary in agreement with another federal state, if the requested branch is located in this country.
