Deregister eel fishery

If you wish to stop fishing for eels in an area, you must notify the higher fisheries authority immediately.

  • Detailed description
    • If you stop fishing for eel, you must immediately report this to the higher fisheries authority (deregister eel fishing).
    • You will provide your contact details and registration number, as well as the date on which the eel fishery will cease.
    • After deregistration from the eel fishery, the registered person is deleted from the register by the higher fisheries authority.
  • Requirements

    They must have been registered for eel fishing, i.e. have a registration number.

  • Process
    • They deregister the eel fishery with the higher fisheries authority.
    • The deregistration must include the contact details and registration number as well as the time of deregistration from the eel fishery.
    • Your registration for eel fishing will be removed from the register.
